Cedd The Light

 

It has not always been an easy life, but music has made it a good life.  I am a Kansas City, Missouri native.  My mother was the piano teacher for the KCMO school district when I was growing up, so I was always exposed to music.  At 9 I realized that I could sing.  At 12 I started composing songs.  As a young adult I met a man named Roger that taught me the chord basics to the guitar.  Once I learned the basics I tried to learn anything I could from anybody willing to teach me.

 

I have always been happiest when music was around me.  My brother and I used to find things and make instruments when we were kids.  We made cardboard box – string instruments and used tree branches for drum sticks.  I always have a song in me that needs to get out.  Music allows me to communicate with the world in a way that I would otherwise not be able to.

 

I believe now is my time to share my music with the world and I look forward to all that I learn on this journey ahead.  I hope my music makes you as happy as it has made me.
